Accommodation at Shishangeni Private Lodge is provided in twenty-two comfortable, two person chalets, all finished with mini bars, fireplaces, outdoor showers, private viewing decks, and sitting areas.

Wildlife

Kruger National Park plays host to a vast, free roaming array of impressive mammals, including Burchell’s zebra, African buffalo, impala, lion, black and white rhino, cheetah, leopard, elephant, and hippopotamus, as well as various reptiles and water creatures, and five hundred and seventeen distinct bird species.

BY ROAD:

After departing from Johannesburg International Airport
Take the R21 highway towards Pretoria (North)
Before Pretoria, take the N4 highway East
Drive to the N4 through Malelane, stay on the N4 for about 40km until the left turn into Komatipoort
Drive through the town of Komatipoort towards Crocodile Bridge gate (8km)
Once inside the Kruger National Park, travel for 4km and cross the Vurhami bridge
Turn right at the first Shishangeni Lodge sign board onto a gravel road
Turn right at the second sign board for Shishangeni Lodge (no entry sign)
Drive for about another 10km. This road will take you straight to the lodge
Drive through the town of Komatipoort towards Crocodile Bridge gate (8km)
Once inside the Kruger National Park, travel for 4km and cross the Vurhami bridge
Turn right at the first Shishangeni Lodge sign board onto a gravel road
Turn right at the second sign board for Shishangeni Lodge (no entry sign)
Drive for about another 10km. This road will take you straight to the lodge.Please Note: Guests will be transfered from Shishangeni Private Lodge to the Camp Shonga and Camp Shawu

Please note: you will need to pay a gate entrance fee of R160 per vehicle and R40 per person. Entrance through this gate should be no later than 16:00 else a late permit will be required. (Prices subject to change)
