Comprising 31 Rondavels and 20 Safari Houses, Sefapane Lodge offers the ideal spot from which to explore the Kruger National Park and the surrounding regions.

The main lodge offers a pool, A la Carte Restaurant, bar and children’s pool and jungle gym. Sefapane further offers exciting activities including wildlife encounters, cultural discoveries, the rich heritage of Africa and adventure activities for those seeking excitement.

31 Rondavels are styled in an African theme and are located near the main lodge, nestled under mature indigenous trees and accessed via pathways running through the sprawling gardens.

20 Safari houses nestle alongside the dams, with wrap around verandahs offering you prime viewing of the prolific birdlife that have made Sefapane Lodge their home, each house is fully furnished and depending on the house, can accommodate from 6 – 10 guests in true relaxed safari style. It is the ideal holiday home for families travelling together.

Directions to the Phalaborwa Gate:

From Johannesburg/Gauteng: follow N4 to Witbank, to Belfast, Belfast take the R540 via Dullstroom to Lydenburg, Lydenburg R36 via Orighstad to Abel Erasmus Pass, Abel Erasmus Pass R36 to J.G. Strydom Tunnel. After J.G. Strydom Tunnel follow signs to Tzaneen on the R36, after 10km take the R526 Mica direction, Mica R40 to Phalaborwa. Follow signs to Kruger National Park – Phalaborwa Gate. Second traffic lights turn right into Copper Road. Sefapane Lodge and Safaris will be on your right hand side.

Getting there by air:

SA Airlink offers, daily, direct flights from Johannesburg to Phalaborwa, in only one hour. You arrive at Kruger Park Gateway Airport, where a Sefapane Lodge employee will be waiting for you and transfer you to the lodge (5 minutes). This service is complimentary.
