Two all-suite lodges provide the luxurious accommodation at Sediba. Letlapa is the larger half of the lodge: ultra spacious, with a sleek and modern feel. The suites are linked to the main lodge and each other by wooden boardwalks. Each suite is met by an en suite lounge with a fireplace and some suites feature open-plan bathrooms. Private decks have built-in Jacuzzis as well as outdoor showers for refreshment in the warm African air.
Letlapala, the smaller lodge, is situated on one of the highest points of the reserve, towering over the forest below and basking in 360 degree views of Welgevonden’s vast horizons. These intimate, open-plan suites each have a lounge, double bedroom and en-suite bathroom, and open onto personal viewing decks.
The well stocked Welgevonden Reserve is a sanctuary for iconic African wildlife including elephants, lions and rhinos. One of the largest privately owned reserves in South Africa, the reserve contains 50 different mammal species, and one of the biggest populations of White Rhino on a private reserve in Africa.
Of course, the extensive array of indigenous flora is home to over 300 species of birds, which find the diversity of habitats irresistible. A landscape of varying terrains, from densely wooded hills to expansive savannah plains, is encircled by the Waterberg Mountain range.
Please note: you will need to pay a gate entrance fee of R160 per vehicle and R40 per person. The entrance fee can only be confirmed at the time of making your reservation (Prices subject to change)
