Room Overview

Location: South Africa–>KwaZulu-Natal–>Phinda Private Game Reserve

Accommodation Type: Lodge

Good For: Solo, Couple/Romantic

The Phinda Game Reserve, an enrapturing and colourful park nestled at the confluence of seven entirely distinct ecosystems, is home to 23 000 hectares of exclusive, lodge bearing natural habitat. The reserve itself is in an amazing locale, crammed into the rich land lying between the Mkuze Game Reserve and the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park (a World Heritage Site), as well as being within a sea mist’s reach of the Indian Ocean coastline. This yields an amazing rainfall pattern, producing conditions perfect for lush, grassy woodland scenes, broad, sweeping mountain ranges with impressive coverage, and some of the most exciting marine wildlife you’re likely to spot anywhere.

The exclusive Phinda Zuka safari lodge is a sole-use getaway venue, nestled into a deeply wooded and romantic area of the greater Phinda. Facilitating high standards in comfortable lodging and luxury decore, Phinda Zuka acquires its name from the Zulu term for “sixpence” – comprised of a core of four cottages, in close proximity to each other, with scenic views, private pools, a cozy library, and a range of entertainment options to keep adults and kids alike amused, Phinda Zuka is a highly personal safari experience, and entirely unique.

Perfectly suited to small groups and families, Phinda is the epitome of bushveld intimacy and elegance.
