Camp Shonga’s accommodation allows for up to ten guests in five tented units, all fitted with en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, room fans, fireplaces, and private viewing decks.

Location

BY ROAD:

• Fly to KMIA / Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, (the nearest airport)
• Drive to the N4 through Malelane, stay on the N4 for about 40km until the left turn into Komatipoort
• Drive through the town of Komatipoort towards Crocodile Bridge gate (8km)
• Once inside the Kruger National Park, travel for 4km and cross the Vurhami bridge
• Turn right at the first Shishangeni Lodge sign board onto a gravel road
• Turn right at the second sign board for Shishangeni Lodge (no entry sign)
• Drive for about another 10km. This road will take you straight to the lodge
• Guests will be transferred from Shishangeni to the Shonga Camp

BY ROAD:

• Drive through the town of Komatipoort towards Crocodile Bridge gate (8km)
• Once inside the Kruger National Park, travel for 4km and cross the Vurhami bridge
• Turn right at the first Shishangeni Lodge sign board onto a gravel road
• Turn right at the second sign board for Shishangeni Lodge (no entry sign)
• Drive for about another 10km. This road will take you straight to the lodge
• Guests will be transferred from Shishangeni to the Shonga Camp
Please note: You will need to pay a gate entrance fee of R160 per vehicle and R40 per person.The entrance fee can only be confirmed at the time of making your reservation (Prices subject to change)
