Bordering the Timbavati Game Reserve and Kruger National Park, the Klaserie Game Reserve reserve is hot and dry for most of the year. Owing its name and much of its character to the area’s fantastic walking safari opportunities, Africa on Foot is also home to charming staff, and warm service, comfortable accommodation in rustic chalet units, and the lodge’s resident Buffalo, Bruce.
Africa on Foot Camp provides accommodation at any of its five rustic chalets,as well as a fully furnished tree house:
Maroela, a family chalet, offers a maximum of four guests a double, and twin beds, as well as en-suite bathroom facilities.
Ghwarrie sports a double bed, with an en-suite toilet as well as an outdoor shower. It accommodates up to two guests.
Rooibos Chalet sleeps a maximum of two guests on one double bed, with an en-suite bathroom.
Hardekool is a family unit, sleeping up to four guests, spread between a double, and twin beds. En-suite bathroom facilities are also provided.
Tjankbos Chalet accommodates two guests on a set of twin beds, with full en-suite toilet facilities and an outdoor shower.
Adventurous guests can take to the bush in the Treehouse, boasting twin beds for a maximum of four guests, a lounge area on the first floor, and an outdoor bathroom and shower.
