Route & Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg, South Africa - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Check in to board your scheduled one-way flight from O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, to the Victoria Falls International Airport in Zimbabwe. A lodge representative will take you on a safari on your way to the Victoria Falls Hotel - which will be your accommodation for the night.

You will be accommodated in an Edwardian furnished suites that include amenities such as a television, an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower, air-conditioning and a safe. A large swimming pool, two tennis courts, a library, reading rooms, and chapel forms part of all the on-site facilities that you will get to enjoy at the hotel.

Venture on a unique cultural experience during the traditional boma dinner. Participate in the hand washing ceremony before savoring your starter - traditional beer and canapes. Sample a variety of game meat and other delicacies as enjoy the accompanied entertainment, provided by traditional Shangaan dancers and singers. Discover what life has in store for you while a sangoma, local witch doctor, reads your fortune. Day 2: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Wake up early to venture on a guided tour of the pristine Victoria Falls. A guide will take you on an early morning drive to the renowned Victoria Falls. The accompanied guide will inform you about the rich history of the area. Discover how the Falls were formed and what customs and traditions surround them. Learn more about the vegetation and the wildlife that populates the location. Visit the Falls bridge and the Lookout Tree.

Embark on a sunset cruise and witness the beauty of the Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River. Bring your camera along for this once in a lifetime photo opportunity. Spot a variety of game including hippo, elephant, crocodile, and a myriad of bird species. Delight your taste buds with a few canapes and sip on beer, wine or soft drinks.

Day 3-4: Victoria Falls - Chobe National Park, Botswana

Meet with a lodge representative at the Victoria Falls Hotel who will take you on a safari to the Kazungula Border, where you will cross into Botswana and continue your safari to Chobe National Park. A profusion of wildlife and the largest concentration of elephant in Africa roams the renowned reserve.

You will be accommodated in a river-facing room with a minibar, an en-suite bathroom and a private terrace. Upon arrival you will be treated with a sumptuous lunch and an afternoon game drive. Explore the Chobe bush and all it has to offer. Track game and sip on sundowners as you witness the sunset. Tickle your taste buds with African delicacies during a traditional bush dinner.

An early wakeup call sounds the start of a new day. Freshen up and sip a fragrant cup of coffee as you venture on a morning game drive. Spot an abundance of wildlife including zebra, bushbuck while cruising through the bush in a specialized safari vehicle.

Enjoy an afternoon high tea while savoring snacks and sipping a fresh cup of tea. Embark on a riverside game viewing voyage in maneuverable boats and delight in the African sunset. Indulge a delicious buffet dinner in the dining room. Head back to your luxury accommodation and enjoy your last night in Botswana.

Day 5: Chobe National Park - Kruger National Park, South Africa

After breakfast, get ready for an excursion from your lodge in Chobe through the Victoria Falls to board a flight at the Victoria Falls International Airport. A flight will take you to O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa. At the airport you will board your next flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. A car rental will aid you on your onward ground travel arrangements for the next five days.

Upon your arrival at the Rhino Post Camp, a light lunch will be ready for you to enjoy. The attentive staff will help you to your bush suite which includes an en-suite , his and her basins, outdoor shower, ceiling fan, in-room service, private viewing deck.

A delicious and tranquil high tea will be followed by an evening game drive. Cruise through the bush to track the Big Five, antelope species, warthog, cheetah and zebra. Unwind with a sundowner and continue your drive when night falls. A romantic dinner will be served under the Tamboti trees.

Day 6-7: Kruger National Park - Sabi Sands Game Reserve, South Africa

A short safari drive with your rental car will take you to your next destination . Your next hideout is situated in the core of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve in Mpumalanga. The family owned lodge known as the Nottens Bush Camp, will be your accommodation for two nights. This sanctuary is renowned for the abundance of wildlife and birdlife that flock through the reserve.

Upon arrival the attentive staff will welcome you with refreshments and show you to your room. Freshen up and meet your guide for an afternoon game drive with an experienced game ranger. Enjoy the sightings of the vast bush and spot a few nocturnal animals that hunt at night. After a day of excursions, gather around the boma to experience a South African barbeque. Sip a steaming cup of coffee before dozing off in your luxury suite accommodation.

Wake up early to venture on a bush drive to track fauna including the Big Five and endangered species such as wild dog, ground hornbill, oxpeckers and honey badgers. Upon returning from your game drive, delight in a hearty breakfast that consist of fresh fruit, homemade pastries, crispy bacon, mushrooms and other delicacies. Spend the afternoon at your own leisure and revitalize for your next safari. Get ready for another game drive, followed by a romantic dinner under the glistening African sky.

Day 8: White River, Mpumalanga, South Africa

Your car rental will assist you in your next safari to the prestige Olivers Restaurant and Lodge. The lodge is situated on the White River Country Estate and has a scenic view of the White River Golf Course. The friendly staff will assist you to your suite which includes an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and bath, heated towel rails, satellite television, air-conditioning and heating.

On a late afternoon, embark on an elephant trekking safari. At the end of your journey you are allowed to tuck the elephants in to their stables, where a meal is waiting for them. After your excursion, enjoy sundowners while the trumpeting sounds of the elephants put you at ease.

Day 9: White River - Johannesburg, South Africa

A hearty breakfast will be ready for you to indulge before you go on an excursion with your rental car to the the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Board your scheduled flight to O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, where you will meet your onward travel arrangements.
