Route & Itinerary

Day 1: Hamilton’s Tented Camp

Your Safari starts mid morning at OR Tambo International (formerly Johannesburg) Airport where you board your scheduled flight to Hoedspruit airport. Here you will be met by our representative, and transferred to Hamilton’s Tented Camp – in the heart of the Kruger Park.

The luxury tents at Hamilton’s Tented Camp offer silver service, personalized cuisine, secluded pool for ultimate privacy and an open tented lounge. Large king beds, en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and ceiling vans provide you with the ultimate in comfort.

Activities include game drives, guided walks and Nomadic African Spa treatments. With a fine tradition of luxury in true ‘Out of Africa’ style, guests are assigned personal butlers, rangers and trackers in this 1930’s themed tented camp.

Day 2: Hamilton’s Tented Camp

Just before sunrise you are awakened with steaming coffee and rusks, before setting out on an exciting early morning drive to experience the awakening savannah. Let your personal guide teach you more about Africa’s wildlife. During the next three hours you will track some of the fantastic animals found in Kruger Park.

In the afternoon you can enjoy the various activities at the camp:cool off in the refreshing swimming pool, enjoy bird-watching or take a leisurely meander through the bush, as you anticipate the exciting afternoon-night game drive to track Africa’s Big Five. Evenings mark a time to relax and enjoy a mouth watering dinner.

Day 3: Imbali Safari Lodge

After the morning game drive and a hearty breakfast you will have the choice of enjoying a game walk or taking an open vehicle transfer to Imbali Safari Lodge. Imbali compromises accommodation in 12 immaculate suites of capacious luxury.

Each luxury suite has a romantic antique bath, en-suite, overlooking the Nwatswitswonto River and plains beyond. Revel in the privacy of your veranda and Jacuzzi. Set your senses free as you track game on an afternoon/evening drive before returning for an exquisite meal.

Day 4:Departure Day

This morning you will have time to enjoy the mysteries of the bush before you are transferred to the Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg or alternatively you may want to do a road transfer from the lodge to Johannesburg for onward arrangements.
